Imm and Vac
BrandingTo appeal to both parent and child we came up with a brand identity that mirrored what would be seen on a daily basis on channels such as CBBC, CITV and CBeebies. The brand has been used across various media and we also animated it for the DVD opening credits.
MarketingA parent’s immunisation information pack was produced to support the videos, which were launched via Rotherham children’s Health Service birthday card which included a DVD with the first programme included and links promoting the website.
VideoThe puppetry, story lines, voice characterisations, set design, video production, editing and post production after effects were all delivered by our small in-house team.

Key to encouraging the take up of all routine childhood vaccinations by Rotherham parents was helping to remove the fear of the actual injections procedure. Our objective was to inform them and their children of the key facts in a fun and entertaining way. Helping to keep the whole family as relaxed as possible when attending the surgery.
Working with our Rotherham Public Health colleagues our campaign idea was to develop two central puppet characters ‘Imm and Vac’ who through a short series of videos told their captivating and funny stories, all the supporting human actors were our NHS colleagues.
The character design, illustrations, puppet making, website build, birthday card and print resources were all produced in house by us and the other members of NHS Rotherham Creative Media Services team.
